AN ANDACHTSBILDER (PRYING PERCEPTION OPEN) V3, 2018

The third iteration of this video projector sculpture that responds to the video technology available in the institution in which it is presented. This version was included in the group show HAPTIC TACTICS, curated by Noam Parness, Risa Puleo and Daniel Sander for the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art. For this iteration, the museum’s available projector is set to “teaching mode,” a serendipitous quirk of the machine that became the basis for the work.
