(ERIK) RHODES ALTARPIECE is an installation of 28 collages, (ERIK) RHODES EX-VOTO 1-28, that mined the online remnants of the life of adult performer Erik Rhodes, who died at the age of 30. Presented originally for the exhibition “No Fate But What We Make” at the Clough Hanson Gallery at Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) curated by Joel Parsons, the ALTARPIECE has since been broken apart and exhibited as discrete collages.
